Common questions
I can't see the rug.
Tassel lies on the desktop, under your app windows. Hide or minimise your windows to see it. If the rug has wandered off, choose Straighten Rug from the menu (click the rug icon in the menu bar, or right-click the rug).
The menu bar icon disappeared.
On a MacBook with a notch, a crowded menu bar hides the icons that do not fit. Right-click the rug for the same menu, or open Tassel again from your Applications folder to bring up Settings.
How do I stop Tassel opening at login?
Turn it off in Tassel's Settings, under General, or in System Settings > General > Login Items.
How do I restore my Supporter purchase?
Open Settings > Support Tassel and choose Restore Purchases. It works on any Mac signed in to the Apple Account you bought it with, and for your family through Family Sharing.
Does Tassel slow my Mac down?
No. While the rug is still, Tassel uses no CPU and no GPU at all. With the breeze on, the rug keeps moving, so it uses a little.
My desktop icons are under the rug.
The rug hides the icons it lies on, the way a real rug would. Move it aside to click them.
Which Macs does Tassel run on?
Any Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are too. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
