Privacy Policy

1. The short version
Tassel collects no personal data. It has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no accounts and no servers of its own. Nothing you do in Tassel leaves your Mac. Its privacy label on the App Store is Data Not Collected.
2. Who we are
Tassel is made by Nubisco, LDA, a company incorporated in Portugal, which is the data controller for anything this policy covers. You can reach us through the contact form or at [email protected].
3. What stays on your Mac
Tassel keeps a few things so the rug is where you left it the next time you look: your settings, the rug's position and shape, and any pictures you add. They are stored only on your Mac, inside Tassel's own sandbox container, and Nubisco never receives any of them.
When you pick a picture or drop one on the rug, Tassel copies it into that container. To remove one, right-click it in Settings > Rug and choose Remove, and it goes to the Trash. Deleting Tassel and its container deletes everything Tassel stored.
4. Purchases
The Supporter unlock and the tips are in-app purchases, processed by Apple through the App Store. Nubisco never sees your payment details or your Apple Account information. We receive only the standard, anonymous sales reports Apple provides to every developer, which say how many purchases were made, not who made them.
5. Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive a copy of it. Tassel holds none, so there is nothing to hand over or erase. If you write to us, we use your message only to answer you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados).
6. This website
This policy covers the Tassel app. Our website, including this page and the contact form, is covered by the Nubisco privacy policy.
7. Changes
If Tassel ever starts handling data differently, we will update this page and its effective date before that version of the app is released.
