Who we are
This policy is offered by Nubisco, LDA, a company incorporated in Portugal (EU). It covers purchases made directly from us through our payment partner, currently licenses for Stagewright, our desktop software application. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, acting as our Merchant of Record and authorised reseller: Paddle is the seller of record on your statement and handles billing, tax, and refund processing on our behalf. Digital products
What you buy from us is a software license: a digital good, delivered electronically as a license key after purchase. Nothing is shipped, and there is nothing to return. That is why this policy works the way it does.
Try before you buy
A free 30-day trial of Stagewright is available to everyone, with no purchase required. We encourage you to run it on your own machine, with your own plugins and your own rig, before you spend a cent. The best refund is the one you never need to ask for. The trial is separate from the money-back guarantee below: the guarantee applies to purchases, and its 14-day window starts at purchase.
Our 14-day money-back guarantee
For purchases made through Paddle: if the software does not work as described, or you are simply not satisfied with your purchase, tell us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. No forms to justify yourself on, no hoops. We would rather lose a sale than keep money from someone the product did not serve.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your order or receipt details (the order number from your Paddle receipt is perfect), or use the link included in the receipt email Paddle sent you at purchase. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and returned to the original payment method.
Your statutory rights (EU / UK)
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you have. For digital content, the statutory withdrawal right may no longer apply once the download or immediate use begins with your express consent, which is standard for products delivered by license key. Our 14-day money-back guarantee applies regardless, as a goodwill policy on top of whatever the law grants you.
Exclusions
We may decline a refund in cases of abuse: fraudulent purchases, chargeback abuse, repeated buy-and-refund cycles, or where a license has been shared or otherwise misused in breach of its terms. These cases are rare, and we review each one by hand before deciding.
Processing time
Once a refund is approved, Paddle returns it to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. How quickly it appears on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Changes never apply retroactively to a purchase you already made.
